The Garden House Studio is a small & perfectly formed self-catering holiday let hidden in an area of outstanding natural beauty one mile from Lyme Regis seafront. The ‘Studio was converted in Autumn 2010, a former outbuilding to our family home: The Garden House, a 1960’s single storey dwelling set in an acre of gardens. The Garden House Studio lies 2 mins by car, 25 mins scenic level river walk from the seafront at Lyme where you can find wonderful eateries, shops and tranquil cliff top walks.

As keen enthusiasts of mid-century design, The Garden House Studio combines vintage furnishings (Day, Jacobsen, Rietveld etc) with modern luxury facilities, creating a clean, simple, cosy environment.

The beautifully appointed Garden House Studio comprises open plan living with large glazing, king size bed, woodstove, kitchenette, wet room and generous decked area.

The king size bed has Egyptian cotton sheets, duvet and plenty of pillows. There is a living area with sofa in front of the woodburner and a wall mounted flat screen TV. The Kitchenette is perfect for simple dining with combi mini oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, ice box, Dualit toaster. We provide all the essentials like cafetiere-fresh coffee & tea, plus treats of wine and local chocolate and the cooking essentials like olive oil, salt & pepper. The wet room has eco hand soap and body wash, robes and cotton bath towels; enjoy the TV/ DVD player, books & games.

Outside there is a large 25sqm deck with table and chairs and gas BBQ plus access via steps to the wood-fired sauna and cold outdoor shower - £25 (lit) for an hour.

Babies and well behaved dogs are welcome at the studio.
